The term “retreat” means to withdraw, pullback or retire.
We may withdraw our body from our daily work schedule, or remove ourselves from a stressful situation or painful relationship.   But even if we are 1,000 miles away, our minds remain the same as we experience stress, anger in an endless chain of thoughts.

A True and Complete retreat is possible when you attend a Param Yoga Retreat.
Param Yoga Retreat enables you to completely withdraw yourself from the mundane world and takes you to different level of inner world that is completely free from any pollutant of stress, tension, depression, mechanical life, emptiness in life, fear, etc.

Spiritual retreat : Oct 30th to Nov 05th 2008 Haridwar, India under the kind guidance of Swamiji.

The focus of this retreat is experiential self-realization under the guidance of beloved Swami Paramanand. For the past 50 years Swamiji has been graciously guiding seekers on their spiritual paths. Swamiji is well known for transmitting transcendental consciousness to those open to receive his blessings.
He is considered an enlightened master to millions of saints and devotees in his native India. We are fortunate to have this opportunity to receive his teachings in the ancient holy pilgrimage center of Haridwar, located on the banks of the sacred Ganga River.

This is a soulful journey into the depths of the rich spirituality of India and ourselves The program includes:
  • 5 day Spiritual immersion retreat in Haridwar from the 17th to the 21st

  • Journey to Rishikesh

  • Initiations on the Ganga River

  • Ceremony and Ritual

  • Yoga and Meditation

  • Breath work and daily unexpected marvels of this ancient land

Swamiji’s teachings are priceless and there are no fees charged for this.
A contribution of $700 is requested to cover all transportation in India (transport will begin and end in Delhi),  interpreters,  vegetarian meals and accommodations (airfare to India not included).
All funds go to support the non-profit organization that oversees Swami’s vast array of social projects in India.
