History How a small seed becomes a large tree? One cannot see fruits or tree in the poor shaped seed! One such small seed was sow in1966 by Swami Shri Paramanandji who started first charitable school in a poor, remote rural area of Fatehpur, North India near holy river Ganges. Sine then this seed has grown into a large-scale tree, which is giving flowers, fragrance, fruits and shade to all segments of the society. Currently 11000 students study in entire group.14 schools and colleges, 36 ashrams (yoga ashrams), 7 hospitals, 5 Orphanages, 1 old age home, Cow Shelters, etc. are running on charitable basis. Yoga and Vedanta are main streams of higher education. Swami Parmanand Ji is guiding for last 56 years to others for ultimate knowledge and working towards the betterment of humanity. Swamiji has fostered hundreds of service projects, which are successfully serving the humanity.He says Yoga is complete life.
Paramanand Institute of Yoga Sciences & Research (PIYSR) took the modern courses to be taught in English along with few other group Institutes are headed by Dr.Omanand (Guruji). This Institute is located in Paramanand Ashram Campus Indore under constant progress. PIYSR is accredited by : 1. NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling), Largest open School of the World. 2. Yoga Alliance, USA 3. International Association of Indian Yoga & Therapy 4.MMU a UGC accredited (University Grant Commission, Largest Accreditation Agency in India, approved Courses) 5. Hindu University of America, FL,USAGuruji is chief disciple of Swamiji, who traveled 51 countries, a realized master, eloquent speaker, a born yogi, knows 6 languages, guides intensive yoga techniques to real seekers all over the world. At PIYSR, Guruji guided Yoga to tens of thousands of people all over the world. He also treated thousands of people through yoga therapy. PIYSR is constantly and tirelessly guiding people in depths of yoga streams. Today PIYSR is proud to have very prominent students who are pursuing either PhD or Master or Bachelors Degrees or Advance Diplomas in Yoga. Some of the students are holding Guinness Book of World Records or Limca Book of World Records or World Yoga Champions or prominent medical doctor practitioners or professionals. Currently 48 students are pursuing PhD in Yoga, shows very higher level of commitment of our Institute towards Yoga. PIYSR has taken all the streams of yoga into its fold and teaching original, traditional yoga but not confined to a particular style of yoga. If one learns a particular style of yoga, one’s knowledge becomes limited. We teach from the original source of Sanskrit along with scientific base and utility of the same in modern days life. We started with modest facilities and today we have a growing vast campus, which is constantly progressing and adding new facilities and programs. Our Haridwar campus has 240rooms, many of them are attached with western toilets and bathrooms and a large meditation & yoga hall of 9000 sq.ft, Gaushala and other amenities, etc. Indore campus of our Institute spread over 6 acres, Girls Hostel, Boys Hostel, Hospital, Gaushala, Meditation & YogaHalls, Classrooms, etc. More construction work is in progress including one Yoga & Meditation hall admeasuring 10,000 sq.ft., new girls and boys hostel, guests rooms, etc. Today our Institution is well approved by various Organizations, Institutes and associations all over the world.PIYSR is proud to have students from all over the World. We are also on the approved list of various banks, police department, education departments, Government departments, Industries, Schools, Colleges, Media, etc. |
