Message of the month
The Two Covers of Man
Both covers need to be removed in order to not take birth again. We don't take birth because of the body, but because of thinking "I am the body".

Time and nature take away the body, but they don't take away the thought that I am the body. As long as you think you are the body, you'll take another body.

Remove the thought "I am body" and start thinking "I am soul". It is the intellect - not the body - that thinks "I am body". And the same intellect that thinks "I am body" can think "I am soul". Since there cannot be two opposite thoughts in one intellect, thinking "I am soul" will remove the thought "I am body".

Then the person who thought of himself as a human being will think of himself as God.

When we select a path of Yoga and faithfully practice it, our health improves, our mind calms and we can find true peace.

Do your yoga practice with authenticity.

While doing Yoga Postures, Meditation and Pranayam breathing techniques,

let each moment be fully observed. Begin to to be the Witness of your practice.

While practicing, experience your state of mind and

ask yourself, 'Where I am now ? What I am thinking?'

Be fully observant and aware. Yoga will assist keeping your body healthy and bring peace to a busy mind. These yoga practices in turn can lead you to true Self-knowledge.

Yoga is often mistakenly limited to the physical body while

mediation sometimes is seen as being limited to feelings and calming the mind. But there is much more to these practices. These practices are really done to prepare the body and mind in order for you to be receptive to Self-knowledge. They are preparations done so that one can experience 'Param Shakti', the Supreme Power.

The Supreme Power is beyond time. Dreams and thoughts are not beyond time. The body is not beyond time.

But while you are in this physical embodiment, why not live in a healthy body and generate good thoughts and feelings? You must start from this point .

Once you are Self realized you will go beyond the body and mind. The Atman, the Soul, is beyond feelings, thoughts and the effects of time.

Contemplate this Truth.

It is good to motivate people in this direction. May this ashram serve all who come in their path to Self Realization.
